This is a little gem to take in if you ever find yourself strolling the main drag of Encinitas. It is a little pub packed full of different beers. Drink 80 beers in 80 days and be part of an exclusive club. Locally, they are world famous. The menu has a little of everything from New Zealand Mussels, Salads, Tacos, Angus & Kobe Wagyu Burgers, Pizzas and Sandwiches. I ordered the 33.0384°N, 117.293°W Cheeseburger. They get their beef from Brandt Ranch. It was a huge half pound burgers served with Cajun Shoestring Fries. The buns are made in house. All their Beef Is “Farm to Fork” Sustainably Farmed, Antibiotic Free and Hormone Free. Well, it sure makes for a tasty burger and I feel better about eating it too!
For the beer selection I opted for the Ritual Hopomatic IPA which the server suggested to me and brewed in Redlands California. It was very good. Flavorful to be less eloquent, with a bit of citrusy-ness but also herby if you know what I mean. Makes me want to try other brews from Ritual like the Extra Red Ale.
This place should not be under estimated. The food is good and the beer is plentiful. You can’t go wrong. The money you save here will help you get that much coveted “Strong Belgian (M)ALE” shirt.
