The interior is dark but comfortable. I felt a little under dressed as this looks like a place for movers and shakers.
Despite what they might think of me, with my t-shirt and shorts, I tip well, and who knows, I could be a millionaire. I went with the The Award Winning Bru Burger. Our server was prompt as it wasn’t very busy. I think we came in after the lunch rush. The burger came large and juicy. It was a Cedar River Farms beef porterhouse burger with an artisanal bun, 3-year aged cheddar, caramelized onions, house cured pickles and smoked pepper aioli and fries. No complaints here. Totally worth it.
For beer I tried the Cismontane Coulter IPA under the recommendation of our server who also recommended that I could sample the beer first before ordering it. Most high end placed do that. It was excellent and an 18 ounce draft at that.
Bru Grill & Market almost always uses locally sourced, seasonal, sustainable and organic ingredients. They only use the freshest and highest quality ingredients. They keep a very good array of top quality craft beers on tap and in bottle. You could spend a lot of time here trying the different beers, but maybe with different visits. You will find them in the OC right off the I-5 freeway.
