While bumming around Wisconsin Rapids I was hard pressed to find a descent bar and grill that was open on a Friday and serves an IPA on tap. Well, I hit pay dirt when I found Jennings & Co. by 1st street and Jackson Street in the old town part of Wisconsin Rapids.
When you are going north on the I-39 you have to pull off for lunch at Stevens Point. It is a small town famous for it’s local Point Brewery. Not far from the exit you will find a happening place called Hilltop.
Located right down town Riverside California, The Salted Pig is a great place to get your B&B on. That is Beer and Burger. First, they have a great selection of draft and bottled beer to match anyone’s taste. Second the burgers are awesome.
At Crush and Brew in Old Town Temecula, burgers are all made with Kobe beef. We ordered the Brew Burger $17 ordered them medium well however they recommend rare, just didn’t want to risk it. A good burger. You can’t go wrong with Kobe.
While antiquing in San Diego, we decided to find a beer and burger joint nearby. It was a Sunday, downtown and midtown had a lot of traffic, and little in the way of parking. However, we did manage to find Crazee Burger on 30th street which was in North Park, our old old stomping grounds. This is a cute little bistro that serves a wild variety of burgers. Known for it’s exotic burgers like lamb, venison, ostrich, buffalo, salmon and even alligator. I was happily surprised that they had good compliment of micro brews on draft.
If you find yourself in Weston Wisconsin make sure you stop in to the Brews Brothers Pub and settle in for some tasty burgers and a choice of one of 52 tap beers that they have behind the bar. Located right off of the HWY 29 go north on exit 173.
